본 방침은 Android 및 Android Auto용 유료 앱 JLPT VocaDrive(패키지명: com.starry.jvocadrive, 이하 “본 앱”)가 이용자의 정보를 어떻게 다루는지 설명합니다.
1. 처리하는 정보
본 앱은 회원가입, 로그인, 서버 저장을 하지 않으며, 이용자를 식별할 수 있는 개인정보를 개발자 서버로 수집하지 않습니다.
기기 안에서만 아래 설정을 저장합니다.
- 선택한 JLPT 급수(N5~N1)
- TTS(음성) 재생 속도
- 이어듣기를 위한 마지막 단어 위치
알림 권한(Android 13 이상)은 재생 중 미디어 알림을 보여 주기 위해 요청할 수 있습니다. 위치, 연락처, 마이크, 카메라, 사진·파일 접근은 사용하지 않습니다.
2. 이용 목적
- 운전 중 JLPT 단어 듣기 기능 제공
- 전화 화면 및 Android Auto에서 재생·다음·이전·이어듣기
- 기기 내장 TTS로 일본어 단어 읽기
- 이용자가 지정한 급수·속도·학습 위치 유지
3. 제3자 제공 및 외부 처리
본 앱은 자체 서버로 학습 기록이나 개인정보를 보내지 않습니다. 다만 플랫폼 특성상 아래가 적용될 수 있습니다.
- Google Play: 유료 앱 구매·환불·라이선스는 Google이 처리합니다. 결제 정보(카드 번호 등)는 본 앱이 받지 않습니다.
- Android / Google 백업: 기기 백업이 켜져 있으면 앱 설정이 Google 계정 백업에 포함될 수 있습니다.
- 시스템 TTS: 일본어 음성은 Android TTS 엔진(기기·제조사·Google TTS 등)이 읽습니다. 엔진 제공자의 정책이 별도로 적용될 수 있습니다.
- Android Auto: 차량 화면에서 미디어를 탐색·재생하기 위해 Android Auto와 연결됩니다. 차량·Google의 정책이 별도로 적용될 수 있습니다.
본 앱은 광고 SDK, 분석 SDK, 소셜 로그인을 포함하지 않습니다.
4. 보유 기간 및 삭제
기기 내 설정은 앱을 삭제하거나 앱 데이터를 지우면 함께 삭제됩니다. 개발자가 별도로 보관하는 이용자 데이터베이스는 없습니다.
Google Play 구매 기록은 Google 정책에 따릅니다.
5. 아동
본 앱은 만 14세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 아동의 개인정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다.
6. 이용자의 권리
기기 설정에서 알림을 끄거나, 앱 정보에서 저장 공간을 삭제하거나, 앱을 삭제할 수 있습니다. 본 앱이 서버에 둔 개인정보가 없으므로 열람·정정·이전 요청의 대상이 되는 개발자 보유 데이터는 원칙적으로 없습니다.
7. 보안
학습 설정은 기기 내부 저장소(SharedPreferences)에만 둡니다. 인터넷 권한이 없어 본 앱이 네트워크로 이용자 데이터를 전송하지 않습니다. 다만 기기 분실, 루팅, 백업 설정 등 이용자 환경에 따른 위험은 완전히 배제할 수 없습니다.
8. 방침 변경
내용이 바뀌면 본 방침의 개정일과 앱 또는 스토어 기재를 통해 알립니다.

English — Privacy Policy
This policy describes how the paid Android / Android Auto app JLPT VocaDrive (package: com.starry.jvocadrive, the “App”) handles information.
1. Information we process
The App does not create accounts, does not log you in, and does not collect personally identifiable information on a developer server.
The App stores only the following on the device:
- Selected JLPT level (N5–N1)
- TTS playback speed
- Last word position for resume playback
On Android 13 and later, the App may request notification permission so a media notification can appear during playback. The App does not use location, contacts, microphone, camera, or photo/file access.
2. Purpose of use
- Play JLPT vocabulary audio while driving
- Playback, next, previous, and resume on the phone and in Android Auto
- Read Japanese words with on-device text-to-speech
- Keep your chosen level, speed, and listening position
3. Third parties and platform processing
The App does not send study history or personal data to our own servers. Platform services may still apply:
- Google Play: Purchase, refunds, and licenses are handled by Google. The App does not receive payment card details.
- Android / Google Backup: If device backup is enabled, app settings may be included in your Google account backup.
- System TTS: Japanese speech is produced by the Android TTS engine on the device (OEM or Google TTS, etc.). That provider’s policy may also apply.
- Android Auto: The App connects to Android Auto so you can browse and play media in the car. Vehicle and Google policies may also apply.
The App does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or social login.
4. Retention and deletion
On-device settings are removed when you uninstall the App or clear its data. We do not keep a user database. Google Play purchase records follow Google’s policies.
5. Children
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or under 14 where that age applies), and we do not knowingly collect children’s personal information.
6. Your choices
You can disable notifications, clear app storage, or uninstall the App. Because we do not hold personal data on our servers, there is generally no developer-held dataset to access, correct, or port.
7. Security
Settings stay in on-device storage. The App does not declare internet permission and does not transmit user data over the network. Device loss, rooted devices, or backup settings can still affect data on the device.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the revision date and post the new version in the App or on the store listing.
